This week has been filled with meetups and catchups.
i met up with a sister this week who encouraged me to trust God. not just say I do, or act like I do, but ask myself why I am still worried and anxious and lay my burdens down. This is not easy for me, I like to do, and to say, and to work at things until I see my fruit, but God calls us to be still and KNOW that he will provide. He has been so faithful to me in absolutely every aspect of my life. I need to learn to trust him and walk with child-like faith.
Last night I was able to hang out with my two best friends from middle & high school. We talked for 2 hours, no awkward silences, or silences at all. We quickly went back to the easy goingness of the past. I miss how easy childhood friendships are, without expectations or drama.
